On this article, we will find out how to use the review tool the its role inside the project.

What is the role of the review inside the project?

During the project development, it is fundamental to keep the document always up to date, to guarantee the quality of the information e prevent project issues. The review responsible is usually a different person than who has developed the project. During the review, is analysed the information consistency, as well as information or components changes along the project.

Inside QC, it is possible to use the review tool either to apply a general project review or to establish specific review information to certain pages where changed occured.

General review…

1. Go to Toolbox > Insert review;

2. Set the review type as General;
3. Fill in the review number information;
4. Fill in the information to describe what has changed during this review;
5. Click on OK.

Information

In general, when a project is opened, a review is done, and its description is set as 1.

After confirming the review, all the project pages will hold the fill information as, review number and description on the lower field of the page.

Specific review…

1. Go to Toolbox > Insert review;

2. Set the review type as specific;
3. Fill in the review number information;
4. Fill in the information to describe what has changed during this review;
5. Selecionar a página onde será aplicada a revisão;
6. Click on OK.

Tip

After confirming the review tool, the selected page will hold the number information of the page according to what was set previously.
